The Seva* Partnership has developed a policy and advocacy brief based on community-based participatory research, input and review from respected local groups, community advocates, and healthcare experts from University of California at San Francisco and the Internal Medicine Residency Program at San Francisco General Hospital. Among the topics:
- After violence: prevent future violence
- Environment: make our urban and natural surroundings clean and safe
- Food access: create plentiful and healthy food options
- Social supports: strengthen the safety net and raise social cohesion
- Next generation: engage and mentor youth
- Healthcare access: make services more available to more people
